May 26 - a day I will NEVER forget!

My mind keeps bringing me back to China, to all the wonderful things we experienced there, but most of all, to the wonderful friends we met and were able to visit with there. Dr. Haiyin, what you arranged for me in Shanghai was absolutely a highpoint in my professional career, and I can't thank you enough. The afternoon meeting was an intercultural exchange of ideas about stuttering that I continue to think about. Please tell Dr. Ren and Teacher Yao that it would be very interesting if they can each write up information about how they do therapy for the online conference. I wonder if Albert (or you) would be willing to translate it? I also need a short (75 words or so) piece about them - their professional jogs. The banquet was THE best meal we had in China! Actually it was THE best Chinese meal I've ever had! And meeting with the Shanghai Stuttering Association support group was such an excellent opportunity.

I love the beautiful silk gown. Thank you, and please thank Teacher Yao for me. I also appreciate the copy of his book that he signed for me. I am very grateful to have one of Dr. Ren's DAF devices. It was an big discovery for me that the DAF in the US and the DAF in China are so different. I also appreciate the copy of the jounal with the head of the hospital program's article (I'm sorry, I don't remember his name).

Thank you also for the pictures. I hope you will loose the one of me with my eyes closed;-) Oh well. . . I will send you some pictures, too after I download them from my camera.

I will write to some of my friends that I think might be interested in collaberation on research and let you know.

I watch the newspaper and the news on television for news about China. Of course you know about the baby who was born with three arms in Shanghai. There was another short story from Beijing. But there is so little that has been reported in our newspapers about China.

We are indeed home again, and recovering quite nicely except for all the email that piled up when we were gone. We spent a day with Tom's 93 year old father, attended a 45th college graduation reunion for Tom, took care of the lawns, had a support group meeting and appointments with some students. It is very hard to get home after such a wonderful vacation!

Most gratefully!

Judy

——————————
口吃心理治疗的实质与核心:减轻或消除对口吃所至后果的恐惧。
以心理治疗为基础的多种治疗手段的综合治疗,是目前的最佳治疗方法.
